In early 2007 A.M.Seafoods took the decision to built a high risk cooking facility with the potential of handling different types of shellfish.

The facility was completed by the beginning of August in time for the brown crab fishery of that year.  Our brown crab is sourced locally and is landed each day by day boats and transported to the facility ready for processing within 12 hours of being landed. The crab is cooked, graded, vacuum packed and blast frozen for sale into our wide range of customers throughout the UK and Europe. 

A.M. Seafoods also offers fresh whole cooked crab, fresh or frozen whole cooked crab claws, frozen cocktail claws and also hand picked frozen crab meat.  After a successful first year we are now looking to offer a range of pasteurized crab products from the 2008 fishery.

A.M. Seafoods is also looking to extend its range of cooked products to include whole whelks, cockle and clam meat which may be pasteurized and sold either fresh or frozen.
